Inmunofluor FTA-ABS (BIOCIENTIFICA) is a complete kit for the determination of anti-Treponema pallidum antibodies by IFA. Imprints with 7 reactive areas each. Imprints with 7 reactive areas each.

FTA-ABS is designed for application as an aid in the confirmation of non-treponemal tests. Although nontreponemal tests offer a relatively simple and reliable means of evaluating patients with syphilis, they also give rise to a large number of false positive biological results. Therefore, a nontreponemal test result should be confirmed positive with a more specific test for syphilis, such as the FTA-ABS assay.
